Effective October 9, 2026

BBD Outfitters (“we,” “us”) runs this website at bbd-outfitters.com. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you send us a question. Our “Ask Us Questions” form asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The kind of hunt you are interested in
  • Your question

When you browse the site. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your approximate location, device and browser type. It does not tell us who you are.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the date and time of a visit, to keep the site running securely.

Spam protection. Our form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from spam bots. reCAPTCHA collects information such as your IP address and how you interact with the page, and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

How we use your information

  • To answer your question and talk with you about a hunt
  • To improve the website based on how it is used
  • To keep the site secure and prevent spam

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

How your information is handled

Form submissions are sent to us by email and handled in our Gmail account, which is provided by Google. A backup copy of each submission is also stored securely by our form provider, WPForms, so a question is not lost if an email fails to arrive. We keep your messages only as long as we need them to respond and to stay in touch about your hunt.

We share information only with the services that help us run the site (our web host, Google for email and analytics) or when required by law.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site still works without cookies.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as Outdoors for Our Heroes. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us. Email us at jb.bbdoutfitters@gmail.com and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
